The Shoe Clinic Blokes Triathlon & Duathlon Series is just for blokes held at QEII Park Christchurch.  There are three events (you can take part in any one of the events or "the series") Event 1 in October is to get you going. Event 2 four weeks later in November increases in distance to keep you going and Event 3 in December nudges the distance a bit more which gets you fired up before Christmas and ready to take on summer. 

Our challenge is for all blokes of all ages and fitness levels to get active, join in the fun, throw out the gauntlet to other blokes and be at QEII on the 10th October for the first event. 

When you enter pick either the Triathlon or Duathlon, then your age group (10 year groups) and choose either the run or walk section. 

Take on the challenge of the series (all three events) and we allocate points for each event based on your finishing place within your age group and also for your overall placing in the triathlon or duathlon.  After the third event we total your points from the three events and then 1st - 3rd in each age group are awarded medals and overall triathlon and duathlon (all age groups) 1st - 3rd receive trophies.  Being a series entrant you also receive a certificate with all three event results on it and you go in the draw for the major spot prizes.

At each event we also award prizes for 1st - 3rd in each age group and category and have fantastic spot prizes from Shoe Clinic and our other event partners including Brooks Running shoes, clothing etc

what's new? - Secondary schools section

2010 is the inaugural year for the Secondary Schools Section.  There will be a trophy, individual medals and prizes for Secondary School students representing their school in the series. Check out the Secondary School page for more details.

shoe clinic blokes and physiomed women's inter series challenge

Team up with an entrant of the PhysioMed Women's Series and we add your individual times together for a fun challenge. There is no additional entry fee for this.  In this you must both be entering the same category (e.g.: triathlon run) Just let us know who your partner is!
